  • Celebrating Wisconsin Dairy Farmers During June Dairy Month

    Posted:

At First National Bank of River Falls, we're proud to call Wisconsin home. As a community bank rooted in western Wisconsin since 1904, we know that agriculture—and especially dairy farming—has played a vital role in shaping our communities, economy, and way of life.

That's why each June, we celebrate Wisconsin Dairy Month by recognizing the hardworking dairy farmers who help make our state America's Dairyland.

The History Behind Wisconsin Dairy Month

June Dairy Month has been celebrated for generations as a way to honor dairy farmers and promote the dairy industry. Wisconsin's rich dairy heritage dates back to the late 1800s, when dairy farming became one of the state's most important industries. Today, Wisconsin remains a national leader in dairy production and is known around the world for its award-winning milk, cheese, butter, and other dairy products.

Behind every glass of milk, scoop of ice cream, and slice of cheese are farmers who work long hours, often seven days a week, to care for their animals and provide nutritious products for families across the country.

    Why We Celebrate

At First National Bank of River Falls, we believe strong communities are built by hardworking people. Many of our local dairy farmers are customers, neighbors, friends, and community leaders. Their dedication helps support local businesses, schools, organizations, and the overall strength of our rural communities.

June Dairy Month gives us an opportunity to pause, say thank you, and celebrate the important contributions dairy farmers make every day.

Join Us for a Dairy Treat Every Friday in June

To celebrate Wisconsin Dairy Month, we invite the community to stop by First National Bank of River Falls every Friday in June for a complimentary local dairy treat.

Treats will be available both at reception inside our branches and through our drive-up lanes while supplies last.

Whether you're a dairy farmer, a dairy enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates a sweet treat, we'd love to see you.

Thank you to Wisconsin's dairy farmers for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to keeping our communities strong. We're proud to celebrate you this June and every month of the year.
