First National Bank of River Falls Honored for Financial Literacy Achievements

Four bankers recognized at Association event

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The Wisconsin Bankers Foundation (WBF) recently honored four bankers from First National Bank of River Falls for their efforts in promoting financial literacy to Wisconsin’s consumers. As the nonprofit arm of the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA), WBF’s mission is to promote financial literacy and financial capability to the public and to broaden consumer empowerment in the financial services industry through research, education, grants, and scholarships.

The remarkable efforts shown by Emily Bennig, Rachael DanielsonKatie Dillon, and Tami Miller stood out among the many dedicated volunteers. In total, bankers at First National Bank of River Falls took part in nearly 50 financial education presentations during the Foundation’s 2021–2022 fiscal year. As such, Bennig, Danielson, Dillon, and Miller each received a Certificate of Recognition for surpassing five total presentations. Awards were presented at the recent WBA LEAD360 Conference held in Wisconsin Dells.

In addition, First National Bank of River Falls was awarded the WBF Excellence in Financial Education Award for the bank-wide dedication to financial education during the 2021–2022 fiscal year.
