River Falls and Prescott School District Students Awarded FNBRF Scholarship
First National Bank of River Falls announced that two local students have each won a $1,000 scholarship. In 1996, the First National Bank of River Falls established a partnership for scholarships to entice exceptional students to attend college at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. The bank donates $5,000 annually to these scholarships with $3,000 of these funds directed to existing UWRF students, while $1,000 each goes to a River Falls High School and a Prescott High School student.
This year’s recipients of the First National Bank of River Falls $1,000 scholarship is Aanika Reiff of the River Falls High School and Mabel Rohl of the Prescott High School.
FNBRF President and CEO, Jeff Johnson shared: “We are honored to deliver on our mission of financial support for exceptional High School graduates preparing for college at UWRF. Congratulations Aanika and Mabel, we wish you all the best in your next adventure!”
With this year’s award, First National Bank of River Falls has given $135,000 worth of scholarships to UWRF students.
